NL 2022: Signal Hill, Cape Spear, Petty Harbour

As a radio guy, Signal Hill and Cabot Tower are always fun to visit, given the innovative work done there by the 1st Marquis of Marconi nearly a century ago. It's a pilgrimige of sorts, and the views of St. John's are unparalleled. This time, we met an eight year old Newfoundland dog named Chief. His owner Ed claims Chief has taken millions of selfies with excited tourists. Millions. I suspect Ed has caught some huge fish in his time too.

Later, we drove a little south of St. John's to Cape Spear, the most eastern extreme of North America. Finally, we dined out on moose meat at the famous Chafe's Landing restaurant at Petty Harbour, a thirty minute drive from Signal Hill.
